Athena Renne Hitson, a Tacoma community member with more than 15 years of experience, brings expertise in event production, nonprofit fundraising, and community engagement to the Tacoma Little Theatre Board.

As the founder and lead producer of Peacock Events, she has organized large-scale corporate conferences, festivals, and inclusive community fundraisers that highlight creativity, collaboration, and local culture.

Her leadership has contributed to signature events like the Pearl Foundation of the Puget Sound’s 11th Annual Golf Tournament and 8th Annual Black Tie Gala in 2025, as well as Rainbow Center’s Tacoma Pride and the 2024 Gayla, where her strategic and relationship-focused approach consistently achieved record-breaking fundraising results. Driven by a passion for storytelling and the arts, Athena believes live performance can connect communities and amplify diverse voices. She is proud to bring her expertise in event strategy and community-centered vision to Tacoma Little Theatre, supporting its mission to make theatre accessible, inclusive, and artistically bold.
