Drama critic Mortimer Brewster’s engagement announcement is upended when he discovers a corpse in his elderly aunts’ window seat. Mortimer rushes to tell Abby and Martha before they stumble upon the body themselves, only to learn that the two women aren’t just aware of the dead man in their parlor, they killed him! Between his aunts’ penchant for poisoning wine, a brother who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt, and another brother using plastic surgery to hide from the police – not to mention Mortimer’s own hesitancy about marriage – it’ll be a miracle if Mortimer makes it to his wedding.
Anyone and Everyone is invited to audition for any production at Tacoma Little Theatre regardless of any physical attribute, gender, race, age, ability, body type, ethnicity, expressions, or experience. All roles for this production are available.
Auditioners are asked to prepare a light comedy monologue no longer than one minute. Auditioners may be asked to perform it a second time with changes.
All actors cast receive a travel reimbursement up to $200.00.
Once cast, Arsenic and Old Lace will begin rehearsals in August. The production will run from Friday, October 16th, 2026, to Sunday, November 1st, 2026, for a total of 11 performances.
