Run Time: Approxiamtely One Hour

ONE NIGHT ONLY!

Ahead of her Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in August, Amanda Knox (www.amandaknox.com) is bringing her first full hour to Tacoma Little Theatre with a striking new one woman show that blends storytelling with unflinching honesty and humor.

Amanda Knox is approaching forty, juggling motherhood, and finally getting around to being furious about the whole wrongful-imprisonment thing. Especially when half the world is telling her to get over it, while the other half still thinks she’s guilty. How on earth will she explain it all to her daughter, who is now asking to hear the story of “Mama Goes to Italy”? And can she protect her from, well, everything, knowing her own mother couldn’t protect her no matter how hard she tried?

Amanda Knox is an author, journalist and exoneree who has transformed global notoriety into bold, boundary pushing storytelling. After spending four years in an Italian prison for a crime she did not commit, she reclaimed her narrative through her writing, television and film projects, her memoir Free: My Search for Meaning, and her podcast Hard Knox.

This debut Fringe hour marks a significant new chapter in Amanda Knox’s creative career, bringing a singular voice to the stage with a show that is both intimate and expansive in its exploration of identity, resilience and reinvention.
