WINTER EDUCATION YOUTH & ADULT

Education will look a little different this year. To make sure that you still have an opportunity to experience the Performing Arts, we’ve moved to a virtual setting for the near future.

MIRROR MIRROR
FEBRUARY 1ST-MARCH 11TH, 2021

Rehearsals:
Mondays & Wednesdays 4:00pm-6:00pm
Performance:
Saturday, MARCH 13, 2021 at 7:00pm
Tuition: $150.00

Our first class filled up so quick, we are excited to put on another virtual performance this Winter!

Characters don’t need modern day technology in this virtual fractured fairy tale — they have magic mirrors! The Evil Queen wishes to be fairest of them all. But when her Magic Mirror informs her that it is Snow White who is most fair, the queen is livid! When asked how to find the princess, her mirror mentions that Snow White has run away. The Evil Queen summons great magic in hopes of finding Snow White — she can now to look through all mirrors throughout the kingdom. But there’s a catch... the magic also allows everyone else’s mirrors to show them what they most wish to see. This class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays for 2 hours.

BEGINNING TAP (ALL AGES)
JANUARY 19TH-FEBRUARY 23RD, 2021

Classes:
Tuesdays 5:00PM-6:00PM*
Tuition: $100.00
Instructed by: Melanie Gladstone

Join Melanie for this beginners course in tap. This course is best for those who have less than a year of tap or need a big refresher on tap terms. Students will learn basic sounds and work together choreographing a short number.

*Class is hosted at 5pm, however if you are still at work (physically or digitally) at this time and will miss the lesson, you will be sent a link to watch the hour long session at anytime that works for you. There will be a Goggle Drive available to leave a video of your work for Melanie to review and leave feedback..


INTERMEDIATE TAP (ALL AGES)
JANUARY 21ST-FEBRUARY 25TH

Rehearsals:
THURSdays 6:00PM-7:00PM*
Tuition: $100.00
Instructed by: Melanie Gladstone

Join Melanie for this intermediate course in tap. This course is best for those who have over a year's tap experience. Students will work on harder tap combinations, brain teasers, and choreograph a number.

*Class is hosted at 6pm, however if you are still at work (physically or digitally) at this time and will miss the lesson, you will be sent a link to watch the hour long session at anytime that works for you. There will be a Goggle Drive available to leave a video of your work for Melanie to review and leave feedback..

SUPER HAPPY AWESOME NEWS, THE MUSICAL: Two siblings launch rival good news networks and find themselves competing for the title of happiest news show. Soon, their correspondents are in a whirlwind of ecstatic musical reporting – from joyful weather forecasts, to cheerful cooking segments and blissful political updates! But, when vulnerability starts peeking through the euphoric facade, they’re left wondering: is there room for raw honesty on a super happy broadcast? This class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays for 2 hours.

FILM AUDITION WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS
JANUARY 19TH-FEBRUARY 23RD, 2021

With all the new time we've been spending in the Zoom world, people are doing more and more filmed auditions, or doing auditions for film work. If you have ever thought about getting into local film, or even seeing what Seattle has to offer this course will help you prepare for those auditions. Classes will be held via Zoom.
