Tacoma Little Theatre is holding auditions for its upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim’s classic, A Little Night Music. The production will be directed by John Munn, musically directed by Deborah Lynn Armstrong, and choreographed by Lexi Barnett.

Auditions will be held Sunday, December 9th and Monday, December 10th at Tacoma Little Theatre. Audition appointments will be set between the times of 6:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday and 7:00pm-10:00pm on Monday. Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, December 12th.

Winner of four Tony Awards®, Stephen Sondheim’s glorious musical masterpiece returns to the TLT stage. In 1900 Sweden, on a magical night that smiles three times, an aging actress, a married virgin, a sex-starved divinity student, and a buffoonish count find themselves hilariously tangled in a web of love affairs. Delightful, charming and at times heartbreaking, with gorgeous, lush music, including “A Weekend in the Country,” “Liaisons” and the seminal “Send in the Clowns,” A Little Night Music is a coupling (and uncoupling) tour-de-force.

Please prepare a 1-2 minute comedic classical monologue (preferably Oscar Wilde or George Bernard Shaw), and 36-48 bars or verse/chorus of a song (classic broadway or classical). Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. All roles are available.
