
TERENCE KELLEY
Terence is thrilled to be teaching for Tacoma Little Theatre. He has taught drama for The University of Washington’s Summer Day program for 14 years directing his own adaptations for young people to perform. Terence has choreographed many productions, including West Side Story, The Music Man, Grease and Once Upon a Mattress. Directing credits include Little Abner, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940s and Into the Woods. He has toured nationally with the renowned Missoula Children’s Theatre; performing for, directing, and teaching workshops to thousands of children and adults. Terence is a veteran professional actor, singer & dancer, performing in theatre and commercial work for 25 years. Past favorite roles include Aslan in Seattle Children’s Theatre production of The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe, The Baron in SCT’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and El Gallo in The Bathhouse’s Fantasticks. He is looking forward to performing the role of King Amonasro in The Village Theatre’s production of Aida. Your children may also have seen Terence in his tour of King County Elementary School assemblies, teaching kids to reduce, reuse, recycle and rethink. Terence’s other passion is animation. He is a graduate of Vancouver Film School, where he produced the animated short, Prize Winning Tomatoes. |
