DEYA OZBURN

Deya is a California native who has lived, taught, directed and acted in the South Sound region for the past eight years.  A seven-time produced playwright and member of the Writers Foundation, she is also a working actor.  She is a member of the improv group Get Away With Murder, Inc's Seattle division, has performed and directed with the Northwest Playwrights Alliance at the Broadway Center, taught Applied Theatre Arts at Charisma Dance Studio, and has acted as a hair and makeup designer, dialect coach, stage manager and dramaturge.  She was a tech crew and company member with Sierra Repertory Theatre in California for five seasons.  On the rare occasions when she is not in a theater, Deya can be found sipping mochas and perusing the latest in history and biography at the local bookstore, or taking in independent movies at the Grand Cinema in Tacoma.
